ASR a-arms
I have them but have no seat time yet (still waiting for shocks). I think the heim joints will hold up longer than the ball joints. They are similar to the ones used on heavy duty farm equipment so they should hold up to ATV abuse. As far as greasing them, I plan on greasing the ball itself periodically. When I ride, it will rotate and work itself in. Sorry I can't give more info at this time.

ASR a-arms
I have the ASR heavy duty tie rods that use the same type heim joint ends instead of the sealed ball joints. I am completely NOT HAPPY with them! First, they bind and hit the steering spindles at full shock extension when I turn the bars all the way to the left or right. Second, after only 2 muddy GNCC races ( 4 hours riding) they have developed some play in them. I can move my bars about 1/8 to 1/4 inch before I get any tension and the wheels start to turn. I never felt this with the stock ball joints, even with a year of riding on them. If I had it to do over again I would spend the extra $ for the Ricky Stator tie rods and ball joints.
I don't know if this wear would apply to the a-arm heim joints, but they are similar and made by the same company, which has a shady past. That is just my opinion, but when I buy a-arms I will spend the extra $ for Alba, Houser, or LSR arms, even if just for the peace of mind.
