Ok, my friend was looking to buy a LE raptor. He wants the blue flamed one..the guy at one dealer said you can only get the red flamed one in canada..any truth to this?

 

i think the red flames only come on the regular raptors. i suppseo you could buy the stickers if you had to have an LE with red flames

No..you can get the Limited Editon raptors for 2002 with either Blue or Red flames. I've seen them both. I just didnt think they where limited to where you lived!

Somthing that may add to the discusion is that on yamaha USA they only show the blue flames, and on the Yamaha CDN it only shows the red.

 

hmm i just got a LE here in Minnesota, mine came with red flames, dealer told me that they cant decide which color they get, whatever shows up is what you get, i can imagine the dealer can get you the blue flames from yamaha, just tell him you wont buy it unless it had the blue graphics

 

Yeah, im thinking maybe the dealer was just saying it because he had a red one in stock and didnt want to loose the business in case we found a blue one elsewhere. Thanks!
