You will need 2 kits, one for each carb on the Raptor, but, yes,it does make jetting adjustments quick and no dissassembly required. By supplying highly vaporized fuel to fill in the gaps in the fuel droplets,it balances out the air/fuel mix, giving better throttle response and power throughout the rpm range, and is completely automatic, adds more/less fuel depending on the engine load and vacuum signal coming from the carb.

Hardhitten-

The complete setup for the Raptor is right under $140.00. That's one dial per carb, plus 2 snorkel filters. It's a breeze to install, and it works great. Customer service and tech support was great. Lonn is the owner, and is more than happy to help you out. In fact, if you go with a k&n filter, full exhaust, remove flap from snorkel, you won't even have to rejet. Their system will fill in the lean spots. Additional mods to the airbox may require you to rejet. Anyway, I like the system, and I liked the way I was treated as a customer.

what is the general rule as far as when to rejet per thousand feet in altitude. I have heard every 3000 and every 5000. Which is true, what size or what rule, leaner or richer as you go up?

You need to go leaner on your jetting as you go up. There is less oxegen in the air as you go up so it will start running richer.3000' is a good rule of thumb but four strokes can tollerate it much better than two strokes. Another option to rejetting would be to put one or two holes in your airbox lid and cover them with a plug or tape when at lower elev. and remove them as you go up allowing your engine to suck in more air.
