Default Big bear mods

I am looking at some mods for my '03 big bear and was wondering what you guys think about these ideas. I already have a white bros e series pipe on. Im looking at a K&N power kit which includes jets, filter, and a few other things which K&N claims will improve a 15% increase in power($109). another mod im looking at is a lift kit which claims 2" with stock tires and up to 4" with mud tires($109). And the last thing im looking at is some sort of mud tires. I dont do any real serious mudding but I would like a somewhat big tire that I wont be afraid to use if I come into contact with some serious mud. But the other thing I dont want is a tire that will slow me down on the main trails and on pavement. Im looking at the highlifter outlaws, Titan 598 m/s and the one that is atteacting me the most are the ITP mud lites. How do these tires compare to stock tires concerning size? I want a tire that will give me more ground clearance and make the big bear look a little meaner. Thanx for your suggestions and experiences with any of these products.

I have 27" Blackwater XT's w/o a lift kit. Perfect tire
I also have 589M/S which are much more aggressive and will slow you down on the main trails
and the ride is bumpier.

I would not recommend the lift. I feel it stresses the U joint angles too much

I did the K&N Power up kit and love it, too with a supertrapp IDS2Tunable
