I took my new Raptor out for it's Inauguration ride this past weekend. My friends and I went out to Buttercup as it's called by all the local riders out here in So. Cal. There are some pretty sweet dunes out there except for all the razor backs. Anyway, I have to say that I really liked the way the Raptor performed. Most of my friends own Banshees so I tested those out and I definitely liked the way the Raptor handled compared to the Banshees. The Banshees sure did take off a lot faster than the Raptor but I always caught up and passed them up down the stretch. I'd have to say that the middle of the powerband was the strongest. I want to add a few mods to get some more power at the end of the powerband. I'm not sure what though, I'm thinking just a new slip on, filter and jet kit. Anyway, I'm happy with the Raptor. I'd glad I decided on it rather than the Banshee. The best part is that I can ride all year long with no emission restrictions. That was probably the main reason why I bought it. Anway, if ya'll have any recommendations on what do with it. I'll be glad to hear'em. See ya!

My first ride was a beauty! Fired her up, let her warm up, took off like a ball of fire, motor killed! Yup nearly out of gas hadn't switched to reserve, didn't even think of it until I threw my fit, cussed, screamed, and yelled. After 20min. the idea hit, "hey dumbass, you need gas!"[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]
