1. Did Yamaha make a Kodiak in 1993? I thought they came out later.

2. My father in law wants to buy one. Do they have any known problems?

 

Hello and Yes the Kodiak did come out in 93. I know this because I had one. I had very little problems with the atv. I would make that old girl work hard and it would take anything I would through at it. I have since sold it when I got my 02 Kodiak. If your father can get a good price for one I wouldn't pass it by. I really liked the power and the way it handled when you would make it work. The only things that I didn't like was the turning radius and it was nose heavy. I have a couple of pictures of the 93.
