Yeah, someone else posted about that a few days ago too. Still a rumor as of right now though, but isn't it interesting news? I'm just glad to see that we do have new sport quads being released and the trend looks to be going strong.

 

This sounds true, why wouldn't they get into the smaller CC sport quad market, thats where alot of the money is. Whats funny about this though, the smaller 440cc raptor will probably out perform the 666 raptor, then they will have to redo the 660 to compete again. This is very good news though, it just pushes the bar even higher. I'm not saying its going to a 440 or anything but most likey a 440 or 450.

 

ATV Sport actually said to expect info on a 450 as early as next month. Sounds like a WR450 engine with wide ratio tranny and electric start. Once the magizines make these types of claims, they come true, quickly. It only makes sense that Yamaha would beat Honda to the market. Yamaha builds what the performance crowds want, be it street, dirt or water. Honda builds [for the public at least] what they think we should want. Congratulations Yamaha.

 

ya this would be great a new smaller raptor and then a all new 700 monster raptor

 

Hopefully though they hvae sent whoever was incharge of the raptor tranny dept. to Iraq to be executed...............they definitely need to factor in much more reliabilitiy.
