best STOCK yamaha???

What is the best STOCK Yamaha to get that would be the best for the average person? As far as size and/or engine size. Suspension. Tight, dense woods w/ maintained trails. Power sliding. And any other uses you can think of. I have no plans of modding it. Maybe just a pipe. Remember stock.

thanks for the posts guys. but as i read all your posts i started to wonder what about the raptor??? i hear they tend to have lots of problems. what about the top speed of a blaster. are those two quads any good any good.

the top spped of a blaster is about 55 the warrior is 60 the raptor is i think 70.. the raptor hasnt been out long enoguh to see how bulletproof it is so the warrior is the best stock quad

piped blaster and warrior are pretty similar power-weight wise the warrior beeing the bigger but a heavier machine
and both the raptor and shee are around 50hp once piped stock around 35
raptor-best overall
shee-most available power works well in dunes and wide open stuff takes more work to run the clutch and stuff
blaster - mini shee, smaller but still once piped rips around pretty good (no shee or rap but still fun), light and cheap
warrior - your trail cruizer, and reliable
hope that helps sorry for the typos lata

thats all right everybody messes up on typing. im sure you knew how to spell all those words. and yes that was very helpful info. i could use more info like that. and in all those cases does higher top speed = quicker exceleration, cuz thats would make the most sence. like something that goes 50 would excelerate quikier to 30 than something that tops out at 30.

yah id say in most cases your right so basically your looking at 2 different classes speed wise the shee and the rap being the faster ones and the blaster and warrior being the slower. also another thing to consider is if you are looking for more acceleration you should gear down, this increases acceleration. I would think the blaster would be the faster accelerator between the warrior due to the light weight but the warrior have more top speed, however a piped blaster i'm sure is similar to a stock warrior. as for the raptor and the shee they have different power. the raptor has torque and lots of bottom and mid end power which is probably better for tight trails the powerband is also easier to ride. The shee is sort of in a class of its own. Since it is a 2stroke it responds to mods well. however it is more of a top end duner machine for wide open riding. It lacks the bottom end grunt of the raptor if thats what your looking for. However it does have a extrememly strong top end. IMO you should decide wether your going the more powerful and expensive high performance route or the cheaper sport route then you can decide between the two quads. btw one extra point on the blaster only the new 03s have the new disk brakes the old drums aren't the best. well good luck with your choice
