Default Got My New Raptor Yesterday!!!!

Hey guys got my new Raptor yesterday and let me tell you this machine is a blast to ride. It is worlds different than my Warrior that I traded in on it. The power seems kind of scary cause at first when you just cruising along then you nail it wide open it just comes alive like crazy. I have just one question what is the deal with reverse? I have stalled it many times trying to go in reverse and when you get it to go you have to give it a lot of gas and it sputters and then just shoots backwards real fast. Is there some kind of limiter on it to prevent you from back too fast. Cause I know my brother's Mojave's reverse has the same turn **** thing but when its in reverse it goes just as fast in reverse as it does going foward in first gear.

Congrats on the Raptor. Be carefull untill you get used to the speed and weight distribution.
Yes, there is a rev limiter on your Raptor. I have the 01 with no rev limiter and I have to tell you, it can be scarry going in reverse. Mine cuts out too as do a lot of Raptors and I'm not sure why. Most people don't even use reverse because of the trany problems the Raptor has had. Mostly it's just the 01's, but some of the newer ones have gone south also.. My advise is, only use reverse when you have to and always come to a complete stop and shift into first easily. May save you a lot of head achs and money.
Now, go out and have fun. You can tell us about your Rooky Raptor Pilot Crashes later.
