I am doing this soon.
From what I have learned, you will need to clip the green/white wire going to the cdi and ground it to the frame. This will also disable your reverse light. Dont quote me though. Do a search in the Yamaha forum. You'll find it.

Default Parking Brake Disconnect RAPTOR

okay i got the block off plate on disconnected the parking brake.. than my rev limiter was stuck on so the plug that plugs into the park brake i cut that opened and blocked off the 2 wires from each other.. now it seems there is no rev limiter... then i put it in reverse and revvved up and the rev limiter just seemed like it was higher up in rpms...??? any help or is this normal.. thanks BTW the whole process is less than 30 minutes and very simple to do.... if i did it right

toyman660r's website has the whole rev limiter bypass spelled out. go to tips and tricks, then to the raptor section.
