I am looking at axles for my blaster, i mainly trail ride but as i stated in a post about the quad it is way too thin.
For 299.99 +4 axle or a +3+5
now the +2+2 axle is a total of four..does that mean the +3+5, the first setting on it 1.5 wider then all the spacers in its 2.5 inches longer per side.
For woods riding is the 4 or 5 better? I had a +2+2 axcalibur axle on my 300ex and it wasn't too wide and I'm think another inch on the blaster won't hurt! I have to get way down on the quad and really throw my big *** into it to get it to slide good but i do have crappy tires on it!
This is my only mod handling mod right now, Soon tho i am getting some razrs for a flatter profile, will this effect my handling in a bad way? having the back end wider than the front? I know later(probably much later) i'm adding some +2 a-arms(unless i find a good deal on ebay for some used ones)
but next i will probably add some hydro brakes to the bike(i have a set up brewing in my head from a rear caliper master cylinder and fluid reserve from a 350X i came across! So it might work out pretty good! Then i found a sit on the net that gives you everything to convert to +2 a-arms, and they give you warrior hubs and rotors and calipers and everything for hydros on the front. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

if the back is way wider then the front it will not handle correctly quad will push when turning and it will be worse. So you might want to try flipping the front tires intell you get the a-arms if you dont' do big jumps i'v had like that for a while and have had no probems. I have tried a few differnt legths in the back. I used to have 2 and half inch wheel extentions in the back (on both sided 5inches in total) and the front flipped that worked good however since we have got new tires and wheels that were offset. I had to take the spacers off because the back was just 2 much wider then the front so now i just run the offset wheels which is about 3 inches wider similar to what flipping the front tires gives you. btw i have a 2 inch swingarm extention 2. well i hope that helped a bit. The new tires should help the stock balooners suck you'll hook up way better with new ones anything will be better.
