hi,i was just looking for some info on a 2002 raptor,can anyone tell me is this a reliable quad,and i herd the 2001 had tranny problems was the tranny problem worked out in the 2002?also what is the width of the quad i herd they were narrow and are very tippy,how would you take car of this,any info would be very appreciated.thanks

 

im pretty sure the 02's got all the kinks out. I recently purchased an 03 raptor about 2 weeks ago and i have to say i have noticed no tippiness at all..and i ride hard! Im comparing this stability to a warrior with holeshots so you can see how they compare. It is a beautiful machine! So far, i have no complaints. Well the one thing i noticed was that the reverse gear was a little too high causing more speed and less torque. you really gotta use the clutch.

Other than that, id say go for it, there a blast.

You will not be disapointed with a Rappy the 02 has most of kinks worked out, and as for the tippy part... I don't think its a prob. but if you get it and think so then you can fix it with a couple hundred bucks in wheel spacers.
