Default Wolverine info.

I had a 2002 Prairie 650 but traded it in toward a camper. I miss riding even though there is not many places to ride in eastern Massachusetts. I've been looking at buying a Wolverine. I like it because it looks like you can have more fun in the woods with it. The Prairie 650 was fun but it was a bear to manuver in tight trails. My concern is this. I have a huge driveway and need a ATV that can push some snow. The Prairie did a good job but I'm curious how the Wolverine will do since it weighs 120#'s less than the Prairie. I am also concerned if the motor will have enough power to push snow ?

I'm really not sure if the wolverine will be able to do the job, easily. It is a blast to drive but it is a little underpowered for snowplowing, I'm not bashing any of you Wolverine owners out there I'm just saying I dont think the wolverine would be a good snowplower. If you're looking for something lighter with a smaller engine then I would get the Kodiak 400 or 450, they are really great machines and I can say for a fact by witnessing it that they are good snowplowers.

First gear in the wolverine is very low and has a lot of torque, I think it will do fine.
