Will this cause rear-end problem on Raptor?
#1
Hello,
Thanks for taking a look.
I have an 01 Raptor, with whic one of the modification is +3+1 A-Arms. I just purchased some Custom Axis Dual Rates for the front, and was wondering if this might cause me some trouble in the rear end? Will I need to make some mods to the rear, maybe a new rear shock or a rebuilt one?
About 70% dunes, lots of jumping. Moderately aggressive ridder.
Thanks in advance,
Don

The factory rear shock is much better than the fronts were, however the quality shocks you added to the front might leave you desiring better valving and longer travel in the rear. A number of companies such as TCS, offer a re-worked factory shock which utilizes the body and other components but replaces the shaft with a better shaft. The custom valving will also allow you to tune your bike to get the most out of what you have...
I'm not saying leave it parked until you do those mods, just an idea
your quad will take a pretty decent hit right now.
