grizzly wheelies
#2
I can't comment on a Prairie, but my 660 never was much for wheelies off the throttle. With the HMF on there, I can get it up off throttle by jerking the bars pretty good, but that rubber band limits its wheelie capability. Put some gears in that thing and it would have no problems whatsoever.

I am with you up until you said "as good as a sport quad". My grizzly will wheelie, but it is an up and down thing, not much distance, and not much control. The Vforce on the other hand is a wheelie monster. No limit to when, where, how high, or how long!!!

My "sport quad" I can wheelie all day long. My cousin has a 660 grizzly and all he can do is bring the front end up and it comes right back down. There is no comparison.

The reason the prairie can wheelie better than the Grizzly is because its transmission hooks up quicker and it has more low end punch off the throttle. That is exactly why it can wheelie better. I don't think it has a thing to do with top heavy, cause neither of these quads are super heavy on the front end.
