Sharp looking bike. I seen a few thing that I would like to ask you about. I seen that you have the DG skid plates. I was wondering did you drill the hole for the front diff. drain plug or was that already there and if you can and will say how much did the engine mods. run you.

Yeah..I drilled it with a hole saw. It was sort of a pain to line up as you can see cause its not quite centered but I only need enough room to fit a 1/4 in. drive socket in there, so the smaller the hole, the better. The engine mods were around $400.00 for the parts (cam, piston package from highlifter) I also put in sealed front wheel bearings. Only about $38.99 for the bore, and $50.00 for the portwork from a buddy in CA. I did all the labor myself and saved alot of money

The skids are a bit on the expensive side. About 150 for the middle, 100 for a-arms and 100 for the rear. I think they are worth it though. Its pretty much bullet proof underneath. They installed pretty easy, but the clamps can be a bit stubborn. I drilled the hole in the front so I wouldnt remove it to change fluid in front differential. As for the bars, they were around 25 bucks. They bolted right on with no problems, and the console fit good too. The wheels will be here this week. will post them as soon as I get them on so check back.

The bars are also DG. I got the Hi-Bend so the console would fit. Pad was from Dennis Kirk.
