Default Air filter

I have done a search for different system of airbox mods. Does anyone have a direct air filter system where it would eliminate the airbox completely??? I went to www.speedwerx.com but they dont have a picture of the filter installed.

Like the one I have? Click on the camera under my screen name and look at the last two pics.

I made it and I'm looking into having some made up for me. They'll look a little nicer and be anodized if all goes well.

Look at my pics, I just used the pro-design adapter plate and cut the airbox off and used the existing mounts in the front to keep the filter from bouncing around.

when are you looking into getting some of those brackets made up?? What is in front of the bracket's top mount nut?? what type of filters are those brand and part number??

Big B

is the filter setup just resting on the bushings of the air box that go into the frame??

As soon as possible. I've received some bids already but want to get the best quality while keeping the cost reasonable.

The nut that I think your reffering to is for the breather filter K&N 62-1100.

The adapter mounts to the grommets the pins in the front of the original box went into with bolts and lock nuts.

The air filters are K&N also, but I have #s for foam filters too. I also made one and may make more that can use the pro flow style filter.

You'll be needing it soon. Did you go to the dunes over the weekend?

Yes, I will be needing it soon, we need to work out a way to get it to me. Yes, I did go to Dumont on Saturday for the day. I of course was on my back up quad. I'm waiting on a $1.93 part to come in then the rebuild begins of the bottom end. Might be as early as tomorrow.
