How many of you removed them? I did but I havn't got to run my bike yet because I am waiting for parts. Some people like airraptor said not to take the welds off. If you have done this have you had any problems? My exhaust is all stock.

Ok on the stock headers where they connect right to the motor, there are welds around the openings that restrict your exhaust. I grinded them out for better flow. Someone said that this is a bad thing to do.

The after market ones have it too, at least my FMF does. I am sure a good pipe wouldn't though. The only thing your supposed to lose by taking it out is bottom end. Myself, personaly, think I have enough low end.
