Hey Kyle, that's how it STARTS. you have it torn down, so you might as well put in a piston while your waiting, hmm, and now that you think about it, a nice set of cams would compliment that piston pretty good, and while your in the head, might as well do shim-under bucket springs, and the valves are out, so you might as well do stainless oversized valves, and the head is stripped, so you might as well send it off for a little quick port job and..... you get the point. You are starting to see the first symptoms of the HP disease.

The 686 is faster than the alky 703, many people watched the races

 

the races were about 50-50 for the rooster and the chicken

 

BS hurycne, do not start that crap!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ist race i won by 4 or 5 lenghts. races 2,3,4 i won. Race 5 dusty won by 1 or 2 lengths (although a few said he jumped or i was slow on take off) and 6 i won.

 

How did you know where the finish line was? I judged the race at about 400-500ft. More than I couldnt tell because of the sand roost. The outcome could have changed after that point????

 

Hurycne- The first race ended where Dsmike, Raptorrc and raptorcr and you were standing. That is where you all wanted to race. I did and i won. Thwe rest of the races were over at the other stips ansd the races were over when you had to hit the brakes and stop and not go over the hill and crash

I never beat DSmikes yellow DS or samcoeds DS and a lot of DS's were right there at the end. There was a fast alky 686 rappy from kansas that beat me more than i beat him.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I raced him last year at the midwest sandfest and beat him. I coulda, shoulda made some changes and tried to pick up a little but i won way, way more than i lost. I had a blast and ran excellent and was still running at the end unlike a few. I was real pleased with the way i was running. That swingarm was great. I have never raced that hard before.

 

I think that the sand claimed three batteries off DS's this weekend and all on Sat. What is the fix for the Rectifer problem?
