Default Raptor leaking coolent??

My buddy just bought a 03 LE Raptor...sweet bike..anyways, hes on about his third or forth tank of gas. Well the other day we noticed that it seems to be leaking coolent out of the small weep hole under the right side..well i guess it would be the water pump. It drips down onto the rad house that goes up to the rad. Its not a whole lot...but every time he rides its just a little..is this normal?

No its not normal. Its an 03, is it still under warrenty? That is a sign of a bad water pump, like you said.

Check to make sure that is where it is comming from, for SURE. You know water can look like it is comming from somewhere that it isn't. Check the hose connection right there.

My rad has a pin hole in it and the antifreeze runs down the hose to the same area. so just make sure like ward says.

I had the same problem. It was the seal. Warranty covered it.
