well in my opinion it takes more than a fast bike to be a good quad. a bike can have the best handling and best power, but if the rider isn't good then the bike does him no good. so i would say every quad/person would have its own talent, therefore telling us that untill you see the race you don't know who would win or what would be the fastest.

every quad is different. if you take 2 brand new quads of the same model one of them would be faster.

stock for stock, i dont know. i bought my banshee slightly modded and did more mods to it. in my opinion though, if both bikes have the same mods on them, the banshee will eat the predator for breakfast until you get into top speeds. the banshee will smoke the predator till about 5th gear if you ask me. my buddy has a predator that we race flat track every weekend at the local track and i always smoke him. i can beat him in a drag easy too

 

both predator and banshees will beat a raptor 660, dirtwheels even had a shootout between a raptor and a banshee, the banshee would win everytime, as for the banshee vs a 700raptor the banshee would prolly barely lose, predators have high top speeds it would be a pretty good race between a preddy and a shee, not sure which would win there my guess it would be very close

 

You might get a bit more top end out of the predator with gearing but there is no way it would spank a banshee i have ridden both and i would have thought the banshee would be the winner hands down. I know i put my brothers old banshee up against my buddies yfz 450 and they were even over the distance we were going

In my experience a banshee will beat a predator in a 300ft drag race. I had a 2005 predator W/a full Yoshimura exhaust, pod K&N, custom aluminum air box and a +3 swingarm . The banshee had some mods also, but Im not sure what. I would rarely win when racing the shee. Then the guy with the shee bought a 08 YFZ450. He got a pipe and a K&N and it smoked my predator. I sold the predator and got a Grizzly,lol. Predators used to be top dogs, but now it seems everyone else has caught up.

 

OK, I have an 03 Predator with slipon pipe and jet kit, My experience with Banshee's that are mid range modded are pretty even up. My friends 02 Banshee and I run pretty even, all depends on who gets the hookup that day for traction. Raptor?? I love the raptors but they are not even in the race against my predator, sorry they are just too slow.

 

Wow, old thread! Haha, but since I've owned and love both I'll speak up! Both stock with 8 paddle Haulers in the sand both dropped 1 tooth at the CS, the Pred everytime on flat or incline. I used to have videos of us racing, switch riders and it was always the same. Even missed a shift on the Pred once and still won. Put pipes and intake on both and the Shee everytime by quite a margin! But you can dune and trail ride A LOT faster on the Pred just because of the suspension, handling and torque.
