ok here goes, i've got a 2001 600 grizzly and i need to know if anyone has been crazy enough to bore out the carbs (mikuni) or not. i have someone willing to do it but they said to get as much info on it as possible first. are there any sites i could go for info? anyways just thought i would check ;-)

 

If it were a two-stroke carb you could bore it out 1mm to 1 1/2mm. On a four stroke that is a different story. If there is only a small lip before the throttle blade I would only remove that.

 

Thx for the info, going to be putting the dynojet/k&n kit into it today, if the lip is there i will get that done ;-)
