Default GYT-R or Pro- Design?

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the adaptor plates for a Raptor? If I get the Yamaha one and buy a K&N filter it's a lot cheaper than buying the Pro Design kit. Any reason ?

The K&N filter is cheaper because it comes with no adapter plate. 39.99
Pro Design with K&N Filter-119.99
Pro Design with Foam Filter-99.99
I would go with Pro design over GYTR because the billet adapter is longer where the filter is clamped to.
