Default Tucker swing arm results and race report.

Ran 100 hard racing miles on Sat at the Whiplash Rock-to-Rock desert race and am happy to report that the Tucker +4 swing arm worked perfectly ! My tranny performed flawlessly as well.

The race, on the other hand, didnt go as well as I was hoping. A 15 mile section of the race course had to be bypassed due to a land owner issue. No big deal.......well, the turn at the bypass section was in a silt bed and the dust was amazingly thick in that section. In the chaos someone ran over the course markers (wrong way signs) and I follwed a motorcycle guy into the 15-mile section. Unfortunately, this section still had ribbons and markers so I thought it was correct - CRAP ! So....I basically went an additional 15 miles out of my way. I got 8th out of 20 quads guys in my class. Not bad for losing at least 15-20 minutes. I was 18 minutes out of 1st place, definately in hunt if I would have stayed on the course - sh*t !

That's Racin

Glad to hear nothing broke. As for your detour, it has appeared to me that sh*t happens! I took apart my clutch today because it was slipping thinking I could just put in some new springs only to find that I had messed up my clutch boss and chipped off half of one of the tooth things on my basket and one of the burned up clutch plates was shattered into about 8 pieces. For my response to this, see above. LOL
Good luck with all of your future races.

Ah yes the scenic route during a race...many a times I've found myself pulling off the track to check out the chicks or get some nacho's during a race...not to worry its easy to smile about a last place finish with warm nacho's in your stomach. Glad your quad ran flawlessy

LOL I like to take the long way too.

Sounds like you did really good for missing such a long portion of the track! Get em next time. Just think of the first race as a little extra conditioning.

Thanks guys ! We all had a pretty good laugh after the race. I'm still detoxing after significantly reducing Mexico's margarita supply !

I'll get em next time.
