Default the truth about the Raptor vs the V-Force

From what I seen at Little Sahara Raptors destroy the 700s badly in a race. My friends 02 stock Raptor was putting many bikes on one with at least a pipe. He even missed a gear real bad, and pulled back a couple of bikes. It did beat my girlfriends bone stock 500 Scrambler though. My buddy thought he could keep up with one on that. He was wrong.

I will go on the record for the fourth or fifth time, and say that the 700 is NOT the best Dune quad. I spent the whole day at the Dunes a while back, with half of the day spent on each quad. Granted, the 700 will go just about anywhere you point it, but you definately feel the added weight of this quad on a surface like sand. Even I prefer my lighter KFX400 out on the Sand.

Because of the weight of the 700, it tends to ride lower in the sand, this creates more resistance. In a race, the 700 has to overcome all of the extra sand that it is displacing due to its weight, and we allready know that sand robs power on all quads, so sitting lower in the sand makes things just that much worse.

the drags we race are on packed dirt. The 700 is impressive being that its an automatic with drive shaft, but will NOT give a raptor a race for its money! Most guys find it hard to keep the front end down on the 700 on take off, i guess it gets a lot of traction in the dirt. On the other hadn, I havent seen a stock raptor race a 700, only piped raptors.
