Well guys, i put my blaster through the Ultimate test today! a Fire department right up in southern PA held there Annual ATV ride today, and it had rained for the last week straight without stopping (So you can guess where this is leading). but it cleared up today so we rode. more than 300 riders showed up on all kinds of quads and the whole 25 mile run was one giant mud pit (lol). ill tell you what, i only got stuck 3 times in 25+ miles of mud, ruts and the worst terrain you can possably think of. god i LOVE this quad even more than i did when i baught it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]. when we got back to the truck i couldnt see the plastics anymore, me and the blaster where completely Caked up in Mud. it was GREAT! i never would have thought a blaster would be a good Mud bogger (LOL). it was kinda like a cross-country like trail system, and i raced through it just like the pros do[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].

well pman i'm glad youre having a good time, i certainly enjoy my blaster. anyone who hasnt tried one and bashes it is a fool. Ive bumped into a couple guys the last few days who tried to bash me for having a kids quad....i got news. A large number of yer expert mx racers today have or have owned a blaster. PLus like you said, it's just a blast to ride. Funny, Yamaha didnt really make any changes, well except for bizarre color combos, till "03, and they sell every one they make, every year. SOME people should stop and think about that, especially the braggarts who really think they are king of the hill with a first year sport quad. I can wait for them to break. they will. and ya wanna bet that somebody with a BLASTER is gonna pass them! HEHE
Hey when you go out with a group, let the older guys ride it around the pits...youll see a lot of grins!
The rigs are just flat fun, and you can really make em haul too....the sky is the limit!

Nice, i feel Exactly the same as you do, i dont understand why people bash these things, there well worth the money and theyl hold there own pretty well. i wouldnt trade this thing for anything else in its class. its allready proven itself to me this past weekend when i put it through "ATV-Hell" and it prevailed just fine.

ya it is pretty much broken in by now, i took it slow for the first few hours but couldnt keep it too slow because its a 2-stroke and all.
but now that its broken in, this things rips. it performs much better once broken in right[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

ya the club has sorta fell apart a bit. but we still talk on msn and share some tips. have fun with your new quad.

 

You do sound like an older person, the way you word yourself. I am older also. I just still love to have fun. I quess that you could say that I not too old to have fun in life. I will never be. Like I always said : "YOUR NOT OLD UNTIL YOU'RE IN THE OLD FOLKS HOME".
I do feel that if I used the name it would be like I was stealing it from someone else. That's just how I feel. I will check out the site sounds interesting. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I do have a few mods on my Blaster and plan on adding more. It would be good to be in a club of other owners that have the same quad as you and may have tried different mods and would be able to tell you by experience how it worked on their quads. Instead of how it worked on another quad all together, or even by what the manufacter of that perticuler mods states how it will work.

I agree with you 100%. After I had a new top end on my quad it was soo hard to ride it slow. After all it is a 2 -STROKE! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
