Currently I have no lid and a proflow kit w/k&n filter, outerwears, 170/175 mains, 27.5 pilots, neddles on 3rd clip down, runs great
I'm thinking of removing the box and going to an open filter, I was wondering does anyone have this setup and what are there specs
I currently live in Northern Mo. but am moving the AZ. this summer so I know that the jetting will change for me thanks alot

And where do you plan on mounting the filters? You can't bolt them onto the stockers, you can if you got the fcr's.

 

Ever think of just cutting the airbox all around the filter and jetting up? This way you would have an open airbox but you will not need to get FRC's then get clamp on K&N's. Im going to do this maybe sometime soon.

 

I cut away almost all the box except for the top lip and one side next to the exhaust (dont want the filter getting hot, hot air is bad) I also have a proflow in order for this to work.

 

I'm using the same type of setup check out my pics. And am jetted almost the same as you with a Yoshi pipe and 25 pilot jets. I would think you'd need to go up a half size (172/177) to a size (175/180) on your mains depending on if you are on the lean or rich side now..
