I've looked longingly at ATV's since the days of the 3-wheelers, but never bit the bullet until a little over a year ago. It was visiting a friend in Oregon that did me in. I spent the week there tooling around his cherry orchard on his "spare" ATV, a Suzuki QuadKing 500 4x4. I had so much fun I knew I HAD to have one.Returning from the trip I did some furious researching and financial scrambling and managed to pull together an Arctic Cat 400 4x4 for me and helped my brother get one as well. Since this is a family sport (to me, anyway) I sprang for a Sportsman 90 for the boys.My eldest quickly outgrew the little 90 so I hope to add something else to the "stable" within a year, probably a sport bike. Ok, less than a year, but in that time I got married to a wonderful quad loving woman (oh, and she loves me too) and we added a Polaris Predator and Honda 300ex to the "stable." Well, it's been a few years and I'm sad to add that we're currently quadless. Though we hope to return to riding quads soon, we may end up on dual sport bikes first.
