Enjoying the videos.. Did the little girl get to ride this by Valentines day?

Is that a convection type oven or just a normal toaster oven you use for the painted parts?

Do you tumble your hardware dry?

You know, I'm not sure which day it was she finally got to ride it. I think it was before Valentines, though - I've got to finish editing these videos, but there never seems to be enough time in the day!

Convection oven! I don't tumble the hardware dry, I just lay it out on a towel and pat it all dry. One of these days I want to build a big 'blow area' that will air dry them, but it's down on the 'List of things to do' as it were!

Thats good to hear.. Any pics of her riding it? Or are you saving those for after the videos are done?

Thats what I think as Im watching informative youtube videos.. Where do they get all the time? Was watching a guy weld sub frame connectors on a 1967 Mustang yesterday thinking that exact thing..

I need to look for one of those.. You get better results with high heat paint? Does it make normal paint last longer also?

I have 3 of those little tumblers. I use compressed air to blow dry what ever Ive tumbled. I use a mix of about 4 ozs of water and 4 drops of dish soap for cleaning and lightly polishing aluminum items. Ive also got some corn cob media that I tumble aluminum in and it polishes it very well.
