need help with tires
well since nobody wants to buy the ds i guess ill keep it lol. currently i have a set of razr tires on my ds that came with it when i bought it. the size of the rear tires is 22x11x00 and the front tires are 23x7.00-10. i want to get some other tires because my rears are like ballons lol and cant really slide my rear end. there is a guy selling front and rears. rear size is 20x11x10, Maxxis IRazr, and front is 20x6x10, ITP Holeshot SX. will these fit and make a diffrence in the handling? the tread on the rears are 85% and front 90%. guy wants 100 for everything. Im not good with tires so thats why im asking lol.

20" rear tires are what come on it stock. The fronts however have been either 22x7x10 or 21x7x10 (Depending on year). Obviously, with smaller tires, you are going to lose ground clearance - which can be an issue if you ride in deep ruts or lots of mud.
Now, the key as far as the set goes is that the rims need to be made for a DS650 (4 on 143 pattern). It seems to be a unique pattern to the DS. As long as the rims match, everything will fit. I've never run small front tires, so I'm not sure how that would work out. I'm sure others can help there...Nick??

i have run 22's on the rear but perfer 20's slides much better. i do like the razr 2's the best
but that is a good price. i like 22's on the front, better than 21's . i do alot of back road ,
trail riding. one thing that helped me in the woods, and tight spaces. i welded an extra set of foot pegs, "from a old quad" to the end of my pegs. i use them for leverage to whip around trees, rocks ect. i kicked them up about 2 to 3 " you need to be able to catch your foot good . they also work well at high speed , makes it easy to manhandle the beast.
the pegs they sell with the end kicked up look nice , but i wanted something a little more
useable.
