Well I’m sorry to say this but my DS650 Baja x is up for sale.

I’m getting married in September and there are still a few things that need to be paid for. Plus I am going to be doing my bike test in the winter.

2006 Bombardier DS650 Baja X

Upgrades done:
• New wirtz racing bars
• New mirrors
• IMS 20L fuel tank
• Full Ron woods racing exhaust
• 19t front sprocket
• New DID chain
• Upgraded CDI 8200RPM limit
• Barnett 9 plate carbon clutch
• PRM cargo rack
• Road tires on a set of chrome Douglas red labels
• 12v socket

Summery of some work done:
• Powder coated frame and zinc coated rear axle (completed 23-05-2013)
• New ceramic rear pads (completed 23-05-2013)
• New bearings throughout (completed 23-05-2013)
• New bars (completed 23-05-2013)
• New track-rod ends (completed 23-05-2013)
• Oil filter, oil, spark plugs, air filter clean (December 2012 2733 miles)
• Both front wheel bearings (November 2012 2460 miles)
• New track rod ends (October 2012 2460 miles)
• New genuine radiator (September 2012 2048 miles)
• Sintered rear pads (August 2012 2048 miles)


There are also lots of spares to come with the quad including
• Spare set of off road wheels and tires (front tires replaced June 2012)
• Factory Hand guards
• Factory rear grab rail
• Factory chain guide
• Factory cdi
• Factory front sprocket guard
• New oil filter
• 4l of 10w40 wet clutch oil
• Factory 16t front sprocket
• 17t front sprocket
• A funnel I made up for draining the oil as its in a very awkward place

I’ll be sad to see this go but means must.

It has been very reliable from the word go with the only breakdowns being a radiator leak and me not tightening down a battery terminal.
