I'd sue them for medical too.

 

Trade it in on a brand name. You will lose a few bucks, but you won't die of a stroke. I once had a Polaris like that. Every time I got 1 thing fixed, 2 more faults would pop up. Kinda like "Whack a Mole" After about a year and only driving it 200 miles, everything was working, and I sold it. I even told the guy not to buy it, as it was a POS. I was so nice, I delivered it to his house. Took the money and bought an Arctic Cat which has been trouble free.

 

I would spend a few $$ on a good layer. Have the layer get the factory/dealers on the phone and come up with a resolution for the issue and his rates or you will continue and take them to court and it will cost them much more than what you asking for?

 

Way past the time being a nice guy...time to get a serious lawyer involved here you have an excellent case for undue suffering and expense for a faulty product.

 

I think you have a good case for an unsafe product in addition to being a lemon. Sue the pants off of them. My pain and suffering would cost them dearly.
