Pics Of your 400ex in the air!

Same here...
There are forum members here that can vouch for mine...
The fuzzyness you see in my big air pics at Radical Robs are due to my wife using her mother's manual focus 35mm camera which she was unfamiliar with - I did do a little lightening, sharpening, and contrast work in Photoshop, but no doctoring of the airtime. A couple of the other pics are stills taken from full motion video & some of the others yet were taken with a disposable camera (Batavia, AR pics).
Like Phil was saying the .jpg format uses varying levels of compression. This compression shows up as artifacts, especially around areas of contrasting colors (like a red quad against the sky).
I am also somewhat offended that you would suggest that either Phil's or my pics are "doctored", we are both long time posters here, and you should know us better than that. I've got hard copy & negatives of all my big air pics if you'd like to see them.
I have also seen fake pics posted on this forum, but usually the poster's (poseurs) fess up when questioned....

I just got back from Lil Sahara, OK and it was a blast. I will be going back.
A few campers went out riding Friday night and soon after we got split up and found I was riding by myself. I was riding on one of the trails trying to find the pack when suddenly while I was rounding a corner and stick or something scraped my leg. Keep in mind that before we left everyone was talking about the snake hunt, I thought one got me. To finish the story I went about another 20' or so only to find a dead end with murky green water. I had to get off the EX to turn it around and while doing so the red tail light shined on a beer can that was in the water, it looked like two red eyes looking at me. If the 400 had reverse it would have gotten a workout that evening. I was very happy to see the beacon that lead me and my imagination back to camp. I rode Saturday night and left the imagination at camp.
This was my first time in any kind of dunes and the only word I can find to describe it is "AWESOME". I'm already planning to make the 11 hour journey in September.

Chris, I am a well rounded racer. Ask my wife! She calls me Buhda, if I am not carefull about keeping it sucked in!
I raced my first race of the season friday, may 11. I showed up late, missed practice, and was dead nervous tired. I still placed second in both my races, and got a trophy. I lost to a wicked fast Banshee, mostly because I was too scared to get near him after he filled my helmet with roost in the whoops after the first corner! I beat other Banshees, 250R's, a DS650 and 400EX's to get there! I still can't belive it. I guess all that "practice" with ATV Off Road Fury last winter payed off!!
