Default Otter Outdoors Sled...

I've been throwing this idea around a bit...Been thinking of picking one of these up for transporting deer from the woods...Anyone ever use one???My only concern is that sometimes I have to ride on the road for a few hundred feet...Don't wanna wear the bottom too much....I know they sell those wear bars for the bottom but a little pricey...Was thinking of maybe rigging up an axle and wheels for the bottom just extending a couple inches below the bottom so when I'm on the road or if there's no snow the sled will ride on the tires...I have a rack that slides into my 2 in. receiver but lastyear I had a deer on that rack and one on the front rack...Didn't like the way it rode...Center of gravity was off...What do you guys think???

Sorry I can't say I have seen this one, but I believe Moose Utility Division has something similar.

never used one, but always wondered how they would work. We usually load up the rear racks with the deer we shoot. Only have to drive about a half mile.

I have been using sleds for years, the wear bars are worth every dime.
I built a 6foot long tow bar out of 1-1/4inch sq. tubing for my new sled also.

You can also just make wear bars out of steel flat stock pretty cheap.
