Thank you again for your time and helpful answers. Fuel tank cleaned, lines and transfer switch and filter blown out. Carb kit installed. I have removed the carb 3 times and feel sure all ports are cleaned. Starts right up but and will only rev up halfway. Will fully rev up if the choke is pulled out. What am I missing? Trying to get it running smoothly for my daughter who is on leave from the navy this coming weekend. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

Just fishing around, but do you have the air box and filter back on? If you don't it will run lean and bog, wont rev up. Plus have you checked that the e clip is secure on the jet needle, spring in the diaphragm cavity isn't in a bind, carb slide can be lifted and snaps down ok.Plus remember on some model 330s had to cut the snorkel at a little steeper angle as some would hit the back of the tank and bog out. May or may not be your problem.Item #4.http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com/f...2003&fveh=5622

Thanks for fishing. New carb boot and filter and I hooked everything up as I though the same thing. Air box was not completely closed due to the circumstances. Will check the carb slide tomorrow. Thanks for the fast response

If air box lid is off, could be the problem. The carbs are lean enough by themselves and like the Sportsman 500 the 325/330 engines have to have the air box sealed to run right.

Sorry for the delay in thanking you. Sealing the air box did the trick. I have been driving it around the last couple of days with the skins off just in case I had another problem but it appeared to be doing fine. I put the skins on tonight and drove it for about a 1/4 of a mile and when I got back it was idling very very high. I will fiddle with the idle tomorrow and choke to make sure I did not pinch a cable when putting the fenders back on. Will advise you tomorrow. Thanks again for all the help.

Glad you've solved the bogging problem for the most part.. Manufacturers jet carbs with air boxes installed and I know when a lot of people clean carbs they will leave the boxes off and see how they run first before going to the trouble of reinstalling the box and air filter. Most times when you do it's just like dropping a main jet size or two as you're getting too much air,not enough fuel and they run lean, hesitate or bog down. You're not the first one to have done this by any means.

Thank you again. I have been driving it around for over a week and keep idling down the adjustment screw but it will not get to the right idle when I stop. I just do not want to unscrew it too much and have it fall out again. It will work out I am sure. I am also needing upper column bushings and the a arm bushings. Can you recommend anyone? I sell new auto parts on my own site but do not have a specific seller for Polaris parts. I do not mind aftermarket replacements for these type of parts. Thanks, Jeff

Cycle Parts Ware house is cheaper on the steering post bushings bushings (3.63 each) but shipping costs would eat you up. Same on the a-arm bushings. Cheaper just to get them on ebay.http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-01-12-Polaris-Trail-Boss-Blazer-Magnum-330-500-2-Upper-Steering-Bushings-/120792344180?hash=item1c1fc8e674&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-Lower-A-Arm-Bushings-Kit-Polaris-Magnum-330-2003-2004-2005-2006-/370906874057?hash=item565bc5c0c9&vxp=mtr
