Default Hi every one , need help

I got a 1997 Polaris 400 sportsman free , body in great shape needs engine rebuild, getting kinda worried now seeing all the special tools needed to disassemble the engine and reassemble , is their any way too get around some of these special tools ?

The clutch puller you can make yourself from a 3/4 x16 pitch bolt. Also some people have made their own tool to pull the counter balancer. A search of the forum can help you on that.As far as the slotted nut socket,it's not necessary to have one. A good punch will work fine in loosening and staking this nut.
