Swingarm bolt removal:

Sawzall
Torch
B.F.H. (big F'in hammer)
B.F.P. (Big f'in punch)
Jack stand
2 people

First, turn the bike on it's side supported by the front tire or hang it from the garge roof - then place jack stand under bike close to pivot on the frame...make sure it is all solid. Heat what you can that will expand away from the bolt - don't heat the bolt. POUND the crap out of it. I broke the frame getting one out doung this, I welded it back though....they are tough bolts.

IF this does not work, I have also used a SAWZALL to cut between the frame and the swingarm - this will remove the swingarm easy - but the bolt chunks will still be in the arm parts.

The only reason I am asking $800 is because thats what I paid for it. Last time you got a great deal and you know it. For you I will give you the PVL with the motor for $800. The ignition system costs more than $500 new, and it has a new stator($150).

It has a 1mm overbore with a wiseco pro-lite piston. It doesn't have 2hr's on it since I rebuilt the top end. It has Paul Turner Elim porting, and the rest of the Duncan package. It also has a hinson clutch basket(I was told by the previous owner anyways), and the PVL ignition.

Gotmuddy, I may be interested in your whole quad, but stop beating the crap out of the swingarm bolt right now before you break something! I have actually drilled one out before but it has to be done perfectly in order to not ruin the swingarm. We tried a 20 ton bottle jack in a homade steel support pushing sideways and it still wouldn't budge the bolt. Drilling is the only way. After the bottle jack didn't work, we laid a huge drill press on it's side and lined up the bit perfectly with the bolt. The bit alone cost some serious money. Anyway, we drilled it from both sides just enough to not go into the engine. Some parts of the bolt were as thin as an aluminum can!

Anyway, if you have some pics of the quad, I'd like to see them as well as a description of parts that are on it. How does it run? At the end of July, I'll be going to Oklahoma on a riding trip from near St. Louis MO. I'll be going through southern MO just north of Arkansas. It looks like Salem isn't too far out of the way. Could just work out to swing by. Let me know and maybe we could work something out.

if you buy the whole thing, I will throw in every part I have for it. Here are the mods: DR Keihin 39mm PWK,Pyramid reeds,K&N filter,.080 Wiseco Pro-lite piston,Paul Turner elim porting,DR powerhead w/69cc dome(also has 62cc dome),Paul Turner pipe/silencer(has EGT fitting),Hinson clutch,PVL ignition

thats the engine junk. It also has a tether kill switch, drag bars(I have some others that look like stockers), and some various other parts.
