Alright, I kind of did something stupid. I always start my Vinson up after I wash it at the car wash to blow any water out that may have gotten in the muffler. Well I decided to leave it running (on the trailor) on the short ride home today to dry the engine and everything off. As I'm going down the road in between two buildings I hear something ratteling like crazy back there. I figured it was my skid plates because for some reason they are coming lose and ratteling at certain rpm's. So I stop to check and I'll be damned I guess the water shorted the starter to engage so the starter was giving it hell back there while the wheeler was running. I turned it off and now when I start it the sucker hangs up after it starts for any where from 2 to 10 seconds before it disengages. I know on my polaris trailboss that that part of the starter can be bought seperately but not for sure on the Vinson. Anyone have any ideas? I don't really want to take it off unless it just craps out on me.
