Default LT250R Mikuni Carb?

It's currently all stock except boyesen reeds and has 120 psi compression pulled out of a 10 year storage not too long ago and runs fairly well. My question is wanting to get a carb for it 38mm i guess? I mean how much does this help i plan on keeping the rest stock and the next thing it exhaust and wiesco piston but that's all I plan on ever doing. What would this do for me starting at just the carb? Also looking for tires the originals aren't doing so good anymore! lol

it will open it up and give it a little more power and torce but if you want a big differnce go with a 44mm that will change it alot and will love it

44 mm? thats a mighty big carb for a 250r he would lose alot of bottom end with it. Run a 38mm from a zilla you might need a zilla intake also.

Pick yourself up a keihin pj 36 (are cheap) or a pwk 38mm.That will be plenty along with a pipe.Youll be more than happy.Theres no need for a 44mm carb for your type of riding...mine neither lol I plan on dropping 1 tooth on the 91 lt250r i just got.Runs good as is but since 90 percent of my riding is hills i like the snap for gettin on the pipe in 2nd gear quicker
