Paiute Trail Rules?

Paiute Trail Rules?
I am considering checking out the Paiute trail this year. I saw that Utah has an 8 year old minimum age for riders. Does anyone know how strictly they enforce this rule. I have a big seven year old that rides a Grizzly 80. Are most of the trails do-able with smaller 2x4s? What is the Utah rules on passengers (two-up on a quad)? What about a four year old as the passenger on an Outlander Max (2up Quad)?
Thanks for any help.

Your 7 year old would probably be ok as long as he was riding responsibly, but they COULD stop him if they wanted to. A lot of the trails are dirt roads and 4x4 roads, so your smaller 2x4 quad should be fine on most of the trails. 2 up riding is AOK in Utah, you do not even need to have a 2 passenger quad like the Outlander. Hope this helps some..

The biggest issue you will have on the paiute is a rider with no helmet, a rider who is underage and let run a muck.... I would stay out of the state parks on the Paiute like, fremont indian, or piute reservoir, or otter creek state park.. more than likely they will stop you there... but otherwise you should be ok... The biggest and most important part is good parental supervision and control.
