12 or 13 tooth for my banshee
Okay, it turns out my shee is ported for sand drags. The advice I keep getting to get more low end is to go with a smaller sprocket up front. How much difference will just dropping 1 tooth make? Since I have NO bottom end at all I am thinking of dropping down 2 teeth to the 12 tooth sprocket. I don't mind losing some on the top end as it is very rare I am wide out in 6th gear. Any input would be appreciated.

One tooth will be plenty. You will gain alot of bottom end, but you will loose about 7mph on the top end. The problem with going to a 12 is that it shortens your gears too much. You will have alot of bottom end, but you will find that your 1st and 2nd gear dissapears and you will be in too high a gear all the time. My advice is, try the 13. Then if your still not happy drop another tooth. But I guarantee you'll like the 13. It dosn't seem like one tooth can make a difference, but it does.
