I can get a 2006 kfx 700 for $5000 stock
or I can get a raptor 700 fuel injection stock for $5000
I live on a farm and mostly ride in fields, trails, some mud,and snow.
Which one is the best for me? I have a 700 acre farm and have alot of room to go fast that is why i dont want a 4x4

 

I read in a magazine that the kfx has a bad suspension, alot of vibration in the handle bars and a very hard seat. They said the Raptor was a much better bike. What year is the raptor because, their is a big difference in ride on the pre 2007 models. The 700 handles alot better than the 660 stock.

 

I would go with the Raptor. Dirtwheels did an article this month camparing the 2 and the Raptor won. But it all depends on what you want. The KFX700 was designed to be more easy to ride and maintain with it's shaft drive and automatic clutch. But to me, if you want all of the luxuries of a utility, just buy a utility ATV. If you want a sport bike get one with a manual clutch and a chain.

 

to me a kfx700 is a not really a sport quad to me. its almost a mix between a 4x4 and a sport quad. the raptor 700 is a best all around bike i have ever had. tons of upgrades and very easy to get parts. on the 06 bikes the front shocks are the not best but they still work pretty good. the 700s with res. shocks are alot better.

 

How big are you?

The KFX700 is more of a quad for big guys. It's bigger, heavier, and has a stiffer suspension to support bigger people.

If you are over 250, you might consider the KFX 700.
