Default 97 Timberwolf ignition switch info, PLEASE!

Ok i got this 97 timberwolf for a hundred buck, the rear diff is trash of course, but other than that not a bad looking atv. It has so much compression that i cant pull start it hard enuff to get it to fire, it takes a big man. The ignition switch is missing, the plug is still there all i need to do is buy a new switch on ebay, my question is, is there anyway to start the bike without the switch there, or is the bike not gonna get any fire? I figured with the switch gona it would be like the atv is turned off. Is there anywya i could jump two of the port in the plug and get it to start, i just want to hear it run. It will turn over fine if i jump the solinoid, but it seems like the kill switch is off , if ya know what i mean. I just a need a little info, you guys are great

Compression? Does the pull start have alot of 'resistance'? For safety precautions i wouldn't 'hot wire' the starter switch until you recieve your new one. For a $100 the quad is a steal, i wouldn't mess with anything electrically and risk creating unwanted issues.

The bike is not gonna fire with the key switch off. No one is allowed to tell you how to hot wire a key switch on here so you'll just have to buy a new one off ebay. You can usually get one for about $35. As for the compression, there may be a compression relief lever around the top front of the head. If so flip that up before you pull it and that will make it much easire to pull
