Looking at a wolverine 4x4 not sure of the year, I think it's a 98-2001. Anyway I can get for $100 but it's jammed in gear and missing the seat. Basically the story is that it was stolen from the guy I'm buying from and the thieves dragged it with a truck from his property for a few blocks before loading it up then ditched it a few miles away. I'm assuming that dragging it is what damaged the tranny. Otherwise it's in great shape other than the seat is missing. Any thoughts on the tranny? It's a manual trans, I'm guessing bent shift fork but not sure. Thanks

I'm thinking for the money it's a good deal either way. But yeah, manual trans and I'm pretty sure it's got a clutch. I'm not very familiar with these newer machines but the left ham lever has a springy feel to it and doesn't appear to actuate the brakes at all. Maybe I'm wrong but do you have any thoughts on the stuck in gear thing?
