Description:
What can I say, I am old enough to know better, but too young to stop. When they told me riding motorcycles would lead to blindness, I asked if I could do it until I had to wear glasses... but now that I am wearing bifocals, I still can't stop. I used to race motocross, did some flat track class C racing too... Had to have my jaw wired shut for almost a year after taking out a hundred feet of snow fence with my face.... My wife liked the idea, as it was still wired when we got married... I couldn't talk back...These days I enjoy getting out on a trail and riding just for the fun of it. Not interested in getting air any more... for me, air is for tires. I like to take my young-ins out for a leisurely ride once in a while too. The Mrs likes to kick me out the door once in a while... you have to love that about her.... she understands the disease. Of course she has her disease as well, they call it sewing.....I get very angry when I see kids without helmets. Absolutely no excuse for that. Been known to get on a soapbox more than once to pontificate...Don't consider myself fat, just re-adjusted around the waist.. I like to think I am horizontally blessed... but who cares, my wife likes me just the way I am, and that is all that matters. That Michelen man has nothing on me I'll tell ya.. It keeps me warm... Getting ready to retire soon, hoping to win the lottery to make it all happen. Would love to get in the motorhome and try to ride every darn track there is in this big country of ours... hopefully soon.Expect to ride my ATV until I can't get out of bed any more.Did I tell you I have a slight handicap that has left me unable to kick start a dirt bike or get up on the pegs any more??? Damn I miss that.... sure wish the motorcycle manufacturers would do more for us physically challenged riders and put electric start and reverse on all quads...no reason not to.... and you can always take it off if you need the weight savings....Made a lot of good friends out here... invite you all to come enjoy my little piece of the world... Peace, and keep the wheels down and the bars on top...Dragginbutt
