Meet the Nikola Zero 520HP Electric UTV
Just because Elon Musk beat everyone else to the name Tesla when branding his electric powered auto company, that doesn’t mean a new electric powered UTV manufacturer was totally out of luck. Meet Nikola Motor Company (keep in mind Tesla’s first name was Nikola and it all starts to make sense); a brand that claims to building a 520HP UTV that operates on good ol electricity.
Called the Zero, this new electric side-by-side is going to clock in at a pretty hefty MSRP of $42,000 but Nikola is taking $750 deposits that knock a cool 5g’s off that price for the first 5,000 preorders.

In case you missed it, that’s 20″ of suspension travel in the form of Fox Internal Bypass 3.0 Piggyback Shocks the front and rear. While the range is estimated at 100 to 150 miles between charges, it looks like roof-mounted solar panels will be standard to keep things popping for the 400 Volt electric drivetrain delivering over 150HP per wheel.
Plus with 80% of torque available as early as 3500 RPMs, the Nikola Zero delivers remarkable performance right out of the gate and continues delivering up to 476 ft-lbs of peak torque.
