Where do these go?

Dear ATVC: I have a 1993 Yamaha Breeze 125i bought cheap off a buddy for my son. Took little work to get it running, but I have it running strong.

The only thing I can see I am missing is what appears to be some sort of linkage connection between the shift selector and the “switch” mounted to the body of the tranny that temporarily kills the spark when shifting out of neutral to F or R.

It looks to us like you nearly have the linkage complete. here is the schematic to the entire assembly:

Lastly it should mount to the gearbox as it looks like you have it – the tab you circled isn’t connected to the shifter linkage.
