It’s Here: Meet Kawasaki’s All New RIDGE SxS
All-new RIDGE UTV arrives.
A little over a month ago, Kawasaki began teasing us with mysterious pics and a name-badge – RIDGE. We’ve been straining our noodles around here trying to guess what this new SxS was going to turn out to be – a fully electric UTV to compete with the Polaris Kinetic? A fire breathing 2000cc monster to tangle with the RZR Pro R, Can-Am Maverick R and Segway Villain?
The answer has arrived. Kawasaki is joining the 1000cc class for 2025 with a pair of models (RIDGE and RIDGE XR putting our 92 and 116 HP respectively). What separates the RIDGE from the rest of the 1G camp is the idea of integrating a high performance 4-cylinder engine to a fully enclosed and climate controllable luxury cab as some of the trim packages (like the HVAC) intend to offer. While Kawasaki’s official press package fails to mention MSRP, we’re told that RIDGE base models will start around $22,000 and go up from there. Each model will be available in a variety of trim packages to include luxuries like a factory-installed winch, enclosed cab with heat & AC, audio packages and even power windows and doors.
