Your UTV likely has at least one power outlet and there’s a good chance someone, maybe even everyone, has an electronic gadget or gizmo in their possession: GPS units, cell phones, MP3 Players and so on. While these tools can be invaluable in providing information on your whereabouts, the weather and even for contacting help if needed, they are no different than carrying a box of crayons if the batteries inside them run down.
The good news is that some companies offer power converters that turn the 12-volt DC port of your UTV into a standard 110-volt AC outlet! Charging up mobile devices, cordless power tools and even running one’s laptop is all a possibility. Best of all, many even have USB connectivity so that you can charge your phone or device if you failed to bring the proper charger along. Brilliant!
