5. Fuel Injection

First introduced in the 1957 AMC Rambler Rebel

Anyone who has played the trial and error game of jetting a carburetor can attest to the fact that it’s convenient to never need worry about running rich, lean or proper given changes in elevation.  Surely some riders miss fumbling around with the choke while trying to start their ATV in the morning, but I’d wager more enjoy the benefits of fuel injection. Gone are the days of playing the trial and error game of jetting a carburetor and worrying about running rich or lean depending on elevation. Sure, we’re still on the fence about needing a laptop (or expensive module) to make alterations to the fuel map. Even then it’s not difficult to bid the carburetor and its finicky brass jets adieu.

No biceps? No Problem.
